Senior Rust Developer
What You'll Do
- Innovate and Build: Contribute to architectural decisions and implement robust, efficient, and secure systems using Rust.
- Optimize Performance: Develop low-latency, high-throughput systems, focusing on performance tuning and resource efficiency.
- Collaborate: Work closely with product managers and fellow engineers to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Mentor and Lead: Provide technical guidance to junior developers and code reviews to uphold high engineering standards.
- Ensure Quality: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to guarantee the reliability and correctness of our software.
What We're Looking For
- Deep Expertise: 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of hands-on Rust development.
- System-Level Knowledge: Strong understanding of systems programming, memory management, concurrency, and asynchronous programming for high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a history of working effectively in large, cross-functional teams.
- Code Quality: Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code with strong documentation and testing practices.
- Language Skills: You are fluent in both German and English.

Salary
The collective agreement minimum salary is 3,828 EUR gross per month (on a 38.5-hour basis). The actual salary depends on your qualifications and experience. The collective agreement Informationstechnologie, Datenverarbeitung (IT) applies.
