Job description

In your new role you will:

  • Be responsible for development of power semiconductor products like SiC MOSFET for high voltage electromobility applications
  • Represent the electromobility requirements in cross division product development teams
  • Be the leading engineer for the definition of our new products through requirements gathering and specification tailoring
  • Drive, coach and challenge new technology- and product ideas, actively balancing risks and opportunities and driving decisions in your field of expertise
  • Act as a mentor, share knowledge and foster talents
  • Drive and make technical decisions and take responsibility for their implementation
  • Drive product innovations by leveraging new technologies and staying abreast of market trends to stay ahead of the competition

Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field, preferable with PhD
  • At least 10 years of technical working experience in the area of power semiconductors and automotive applications
  • Proven know-how within your fields of expertise
  • Strong technical leadership skills within a global organization
  • Ability to coach & challenge new ideas, actively balance risks and opportunities and drive decisions
  • Already gained a large network within relevant communities e.g. cooperation partners, universities, institutes or customers
  • The proven ability of solving complex technical problems involving expert network
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with diverse stakeholders and upper management levels
  • Excellent English communication skills - German language is a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
