In your role, you will

  • Create 3D plant layouts in coordination with the project teams
  • Review and release of designs under consideration of contractual and internal requirements
  • Close collaboration with colleagues in other departments and locations
  • Coordinate the deliverables with other relevant disciplines (electrical, automation, civil, etc.)
  • Work closely with project management and disciplines such as piping, process, static and rotating equipment, electrical and automation at the proposal and engineering phase
  • Participate in safety evaluations and the preparation of installation procedures
  • Optimize and develop new design concepts and integrated solutions in collaboration with process engineering and R&D
  • Take the responsibility to coordinate mechanical engineering tasks within projects depending on your experience

In your personal skillset you have

  • Degree level qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Minimum three years of experience in plant layout or machine engineering, background within the petrochemical industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge about 3D CAD programs, Aveva E3D is a plus.
  • Knowledge about ISO/EN standard, additional knowledge about US standards is a plus.
  • Experience to perform acceptance tests and to supervise the installation during start-up
  • Strong communication, analytical and planning skills
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel for 2 days per month on average

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of EUR 4.112,78 per month for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
