Senior Engineering & Automation Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of Automation Projects, focusing on but not limited to Intralogistics.

The Role of Senior Engineering & Automation Specialist includes coordinating and monitoring all trades and interfaces from planning to acceptance and ensuring Red Bull standards throughout the project. Senior Engineering & Automation Specialist together with internal stakeholders creates and develops customized Red Bull concepts and standards. Senior Automation Specialist is also responsible for vendor evaluation and evaluation of new technologies. Senior Automation Specialist reports to the Manager Plant Engineering & Automation.

CONCEPTING AND DESIGN OF AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS

The development of innovative automation concepts tailored specifically to Red Bull operations forms the cornerstone of our approach. This involves meticulously managing the requirements of both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all perspectives and needs are considered. Our team creates detailed designs and specifications for automation systems, ensuring they are both practical and forward-thinking, ready to meet the demands of our operations.

IMPLEMENTATION AND SYSTEM INTEGRATION

From project inception to handover, we oversee the implementation of automation projects with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Integrating new automation systems within existing infrastructure is a critical aspect of our work, ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption. We develop comprehensive RampUp concepts and provide robust support to operations during this critical phase, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal performance from the start.

DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF RED BULL AUTOMATION STANDARDS

A key focus of our efforts is to establish and continuously improve company-wide standards for automation practices. This ensures a consistent and high-quality approach across all automation projects. By maintaining these standards, we guarantee that every project not only meets but exceeds industry benchmarks, reflecting our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our work.

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

• Fluent in spoken and written English and German.
• Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 5+ years expereince in a relevant position in Engineering, Automation, or Robotics.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills to translate various requirements into technical solutions.
• Technical expertise in intralogistics processes and automation, warehouse operations and technologies, interfaces with building and production equipment, and interfacing with IT systems.
• Knowledge of industry standards, state-of-the-art technologies, norms, and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially MS Project) and AutoCAD software.
• Certification in project management or relevant automation technologies.
• Experience with advanced robotics and AI-driven automation solutions.
• Travel: 10-20 %

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.392 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
