Head of Country Accounting (m/f/d)

We are seeking a Head of Country Accounting to lead the accounting operations of INNIO's subsidiaries, focusing on statutory accounts. This role involves managing an international team and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards.

This position requires around 50% on-site presence at our HQ in Jenbach, Austria and business travels to our office in Budapest, Hungary. Our principle is that we want to ensure and allow proactive and responsible management of presence when it is required and helpful, while maintaining our team dynamics.

The role is a key member of the Group's Accounting management team, contributing and participating in the Group's initiatives.

Your main Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop an international team of Country Accountants
• Ensure accurate and timely production of statutory and IFRS accounts and application of the Group's policies and control environment in all subsidiaries
• Oversee the INNIO balance sheet and P&L, ensuring compliance with Group policies
• Be part of the Group's Accounting management team to contribute to the Group's projects, including ERP implementations, process improvements and IFRS standards

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or equivalent; Master's appreciated, Qualified accountant or equivalent work experience
• Several years of financial reporting experience in a complex international matrix organization, ideally in the manufacturing / B2B service industry
• Team management experience/capability and an excellent communicator & highly effective networker, adept at building and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; experience with Oracle is a plus
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
