Job description

The Technical Documentation Student Worker will be an integral part of the technical writer team, providing support in various areas related to customer documentation for Infineon's automotive products. Responsibilities will include:

• Media development: Enhancing the visual appeal of images and illustrations, and ensuring the application of company standards
• Terminology research: Contributing to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive terminology database
• Document management: Technical publishing of customer documents
• Manage our internal communication platform
• Support the development of internal training for technical writers

Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time or Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

Profile

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Business Administration, Social Sciences and Humanities, Electrical Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

• Competence using a range of media design tools
• Willingness to learn new software skills
• Ability to work in English
• Team-oriented and collaborative approach to work
• Familiarity with XML/DITA editing environments is desirable but not essential
• Experience with technical documentation is desirable but not essential

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf).
