IT Business Analyst CRM Data (m/f/x)

Location: Wien

Working hours: Full-time

As the IT of the REWE Group Austria, we work together with our more than 600 employees to develop innovative IT products and services for all our corporate divisions in Austria and abroad, setting the tone for modern trade.

Within our CRM Data & Insights product family, you will work on projects and solutions for our existing and future data landscape. This includes topics such as data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, but also the analysis and preparation of raw data for reporting.

As an IT Business Analyst in the CRM Data team, you are mainly responsible for gathering and translating Business requirements into User Stories for the development team. In addition, you support the team with a hands-on mentality directly on the data and databases to build up the know-how in the team and operate our platform. Managing support cases is also occasionally part of the daily work routine.

Together we create the basis for data-driven decisions in REWE Group's CRM environment.

What you will work on

• In your role, you act as an interface between our business partners and our software developers and data engineers
• Together with the specialist departments, you analyze and specify requirements and create concepts
• You will identify potential for optimizing existing solutions and derive product/process improvements from this
• You support your product team in implementing the requirements and carry out quality assurance tests together with the development team
• You support our business partners in their daily work and are available to provide advice
• You transfer the technical requirements into functional concepts
• You assist in the ongoing and upcoming modernization initiatives
• You ensure an understandable user documentation
• Managing support cases within the team

What we are looking for

• Several years of professional experience as a business analyst in the field of data, data warehouse, data engineering
• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform and the Snowflake Data Cloud is a benefit
• Interest in modern data architectures and a passion for data
• You are characterized by your analytical thinking and good understanding of business processes
• High level of personal responsibility and ability to learn new technologies in a fast-paced environment
• You convince through your professional experience in IT projects or in the analysis of business processes
• SQL is not a foreign language for you
• You have good communication and visualization skills
• You have a well thought-out and structured way of working
• You are an organizational talent and a team player with a hands-on mentality
• You have a good level of written and spoken English
