Our client is an internationally known biotechnology company and a leader in its specialized field. The company is characterized by its innovative approach, fast-paced environment and high cross-functional collaboration.

To join the ESG department, which is currently being established, we are looking for an experienced hands-on personality with cross-functional networking skills, who is willing to take on this global role with immediate effect:

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

  • Drive the ESG agenda, embed sustainability within the organization and foster a sustainable mindset across all profiles and processes
  • Generate the sustainability report while also supporting the development of ongoing ESG reporting processes
  • Regularly update existing double-materiality assessment and assist the ESG Director during external verification of the sustainability report
  • Collaborate on identifying and analyzing ESG risks and opportunities as well as ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration: Identify key stakeholders within the organization and partner with various departments and functions to integrate ESG considerations across all areas of the organization
  • Monitor and evaluate ESG-related programs and policies, ensuring continuous improvement
  • Stay up to date on ESG trends and regulations as well as engage with internal and external partners to align with industry best practices
  • Prepare reports and presentations on ESG performance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree
  • Min. 3 years of experience with an ESG-focus (e.g.: working on sustainability projects, in organizational sustainability departments or in sustainability consulting firms)
  • In-depth knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards and reporting methodologies as well as familiarity with sustainable investment principles and ESG rating agencies
  • Strong project management skills paired with strategic mindset and flexibility in resolving issues and addressing changing priorities
  • Independent, structured and hands-on working style as well as excellent time management skills
  • Preference for cross-functional (transnational) cooperation and strong networking skills
  • Very good communication skills paired with high persuasiveness and a positive demeanor
  • Resilience
