Finance and Accounting Associate

We are looking for an associate (m/f/d) to support our finance team starting in October 2024 or any earlier date upon agreement. You will be an allrounder for the finance function and support the CFO in all aspects of her work. You will report directly to the CFO and will coordinate a vast variety of finance and accounting activities in a fast-growing company. You will be supported by a part-time analyst.

We are offering a professional setting in a small and motivated team at a prime location in Vienna, Austria, and the possibility for home office.

Your responsibilites:

• Coordination of the annual financial statements of the company and several subsidiaries with tax advisors in Austria and abroad
• Checking and coordinating the quarterly and annual financial statements of several alternative investment funds with fund administrators in Luxembourg
• Preparation of outgoing invoices
• Payment management and reconciliation with accounts
• Contact person for banking relationships in several European countries
• Contact person for investor enquiries regarding quarterly reports
• Coordination role between investors and custodian bank/administrator for fund subscriptions, capital calls, distributions and questions about current reports
• Preparing meetings and taking minutes for the Investment Committee, Investor Committees, etc.

Your profile:

You...

• Have a bachelors or masters degree with a specialization in Finance and Accounting
• Have at least 3 years of professional experience covering accounting/finance, tax/audit and corporate governance
• Are highly motivated and proactive
• Learn fast and can handle stress
• Are an analytical and conceptual thinker
• Have excellent German and English skills
• Are a professional Excel and PowerPoint user and have an interest in working with databases and software tools

The position will be remunerated with an annual base salary of EUR 45,000 (for 100%). The final compensation will be agreed based on your skills and experience.
