RED NOSES International (RNI) is an artistic and humanitarian organization that connects with diverse groups of audiences through the art of clowning. We work with children in hospitals, children and youth with disabilities, individuals in crisis situations, and senior citizens. Our headquarters, located in Vienna, coordinates 11 RED NOSES organizations across Europe and the Middle East, and is responsible for our global outreach efforts.

Programme Manager (f/m/d)

38,5 hours per week, unlimited contract

Position summary

We are seeking an experienced and creative International Programme Manager to join our Programme department team and reports to the Head of department. The ideal candidate will have a background in artistic, cultural, and social impact-driven projects, with a strong understanding of well-being (both physical and mental health), social inclusion, and interculturality.

Your tasks

  • Facilitate collaboration and exchange processes with programme managers in various countries, focusing on knowledge management and skill development.
  • Lead the implementation of international projects.
  • Manage an internal innovation fund, including the allocation of small grants for creative projects.
  • Collaborate with teams of artists to develop and implement projects aimed at creating a positive social impact.
  • Ensure adherence to grant management and financial reporting standards.
  • Facilitate meetings to effectively support teams and achieve project goals.
  • Liaise and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes

Your profile

  • Proven experience in managing cultural and artistic projects with a focus on social impact.
  • Strong understanding of social inclusion and intercultural dynamics.
  • Experience in international grant management and financial reporting.
  • Solid facilitation skills with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of social design principles, as well as public health and/or mental health topics, is an advantage.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in additional languages spoken by RED NOSES partner organizations is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required by the role.
  • Willingness to be vaccinated (especially COVID).

The minimum wage for this position is EUR 40.600,-- gross per annum (for 38.50 hours per week).
