Are you ready to lead our Master Data team and be active part in our Master Data initiatives? You'll take part in all upcoming Master Data projects and support the business implementation together with our project team. You'll support our responsible OPS departments, and you will also put your hands on projects, enhancements, testing and documentation and will include new responsibilities in process and data governance.

This role will encompass traditional support responsibilities for our Master Data system (MDG-M, ARAS, ERP-MM,) and will also include new responsibilities in process and data governance. You'll have a strong background in system support and be skilled in process management and data governance, with excellent communication and negotiation skills and the motivation to lead a team.

The role ensure consistent data quality between our systems. You'll also lead & coach an outstanding team and have the opportunity to shape the future of our master data environment together with the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

LEAD THE TEAM

You'll get the opportunity to lead, develop and coach our Master Data Team. You'll also provide technical support and troubleshooting for our Master Data System and PLM system (MDG-M, ARAS). In addition, you are expected to assist users with system-related issues and ensure timely resolution of support tickets, but also collaborate with the development team to address system enhancements and bug fixes. Finally, you'll perform system administration tasks, including user account management, access control, and system configuration.

PROCESS AND DATA GOVERNANCE

You'll develop and implement data governance policies and procedures, monitor and enforce data quality standards across the organisation. You'll also work with various departments to ensure data consistency and integrity. In addition, you'll lead initiatives to improve data management practices and processes, but also conduct audits to ensure compliance with data governance policies.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

You'll communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on data governance initiatives. You'll also negotiate with different teams to align on data governance policies and procedures.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

You'll create and maintain documentation related to data governance and support processes. You'll also conduct training sessions for employees on data governance best practices and the use of the Master Data and PLM systems. Finally, you'll develop user guides and support materials to assist users in navigating our systems.

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • Leadership experience as a Team Lead and/or system expert with a strong focus on SAP systems.
  • Proven experience in system support, preferably with Master Data / PLM systems (e.g., MDG-M, ARAS).
  • Knowledge of MDG-M and/ or ARAS PLM system or similar software.
  • Experience in SAP S/4 HANA and or other SAP modules beneficial
  • Familiarity with industry standards and (e.g.: JIRA, Confluence, ITSM, ARIS) best practices in data governance.
  • Strong understanding of process management and data governance principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, German skills beneficial

  • Travel: 0-10 %

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,367 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
