Clojure Backend Developer (f/m/x)

Limit Management System is a non-customer facing product and a significant element of RBI's strategy to become most recommended bank in CEE. In that context the product is a new green field development fully in-house by leveraging credit risk synergies and an innovative tech stack. Together with our business colleagues, we ensure the operation and end-to-end IT delivery chain. As a new developer you would further contribute to this innovative tech stack alongside other members in the tribe (engineers, business analyst, solution architect, business experts etc).

What you can expect:

  • You develop professional software for the finance industry in an international environment
  • Design, develop, build and maintain efficient, re-usable, and reliable code using state-of-the-art technologies
  • Implement automated unit tests
  • Write technical design and documentation
  • Ensure that the knowledge is shared and documented
  • Being part of an international Scrum-team
  • Work in close cooperation with Solution Architect, Test Engineers and Business Analysts

What you bring to the table:

  • Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)
  • More than 4 years professional experience in (backend) development
  • Working knowledge of Integration Patterns
  • Excellent Clojure programming skills
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Practical experience with Software Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (e.g.: GIT/Jenkins/Gerrit/artifactory, )
  • Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
  • Very good command of English, German is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience in finance & banking area is a plus
  • Cloud technology experience (e.g.: AWS) is a plus
  • Event sourcing experience is a plus
