Then this is the right job for you! We have immediate opportunity for an experienced Power Electronics Design Engineer.

Job description
VisIC is looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineers with hands on experience in design, debugging and testing of high power Inverters & Converters. For leading the technical side of the development of state-of-the-art development platforms for EV and industrial markets, based on GaN power devices.

In your role, you will:

• Develop, debug and test of state-of-the-art Systems / reference designs for EV
  and industrial worlds (DC2DCs, Inverters, PFCs, etc.) based on GaN switches and modules.
• Developing high-power high frequency PCBs.
• Responsible for a complete design cycle from spec, architecture design and
  Engineering Requirements Management derived from customer specifications, up
  to final testing.
• Work with all R&D groups: Semiconductor, Packaging, Testing and Power Lab in Israel.
• Collaborate with customers and subcontractors.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• B.Sc. in Electrical engineering and/or equivalent degree Must.
• Hands on experience in developing EV inverters - Advantage
• At least 3-year experience in power electronics development Must.
• 3 years of experience in circuit design, simulations and HW board design - Must.
• Knowledge in Analog circuits Advantage
• Proven experience working with lab equipment such as Scope, Electronic Loads, etc - Must.
• Experience in the development of AC2DC, DC2DC, DC2AC converters - Advantage.
• Hands on experience with Orcad/Altium, Spice simulations Must
• Feedback control loop knowledge Advantage
• Knowledge in EMI requirements and design Advantage
• Knowledge in power layout design Advantage
• Knowledge in embedded systems Advantage.
• High skills in English, speaking and writing

Preferences:

• B.Sc. in Electrical engineering and/or equivalent degree
• Experience in the field of power electronics
• Self-learning, team working
