IT Risk Manager (f/m/d)

Future fields of activity:

• Active support of the IT and IS risk management process: In close collaboration with our safeguarding functions, such as data protection, IT security, process and risk management, and business continuity management, you will continuously manage, monitor, and improve the corresponding processes.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams: You will work with these teams to ensure that IT risks are adequately considered in business processes and projects.
• Organization, coordination, and execution of risk assessments: You will be responsible for planning and conducting risk assessments, tracking the resulting actions, and preparing reports to ensure transparency and traceability regarding IT risks for all stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement of measures and controls: You will further develop risk assessments, gap analyses, and control reviews to meet regulatory and legal requirements, such as EIOPA, VAG, or DORA.
• Maintenance and development of the risk framework: You will regularly update the IT and IS risk framework, including the underlying policies and guidelines, while considering current legal and regulatory requirements.
• Responsibility for risk management tools: You will take on administrative responsibility for our risk management tools, such as ADONIS or IBM OpenPages.

Our requirements:

• Completed degree in information security, risk management, or a comparable field (university or similar)
• Solid professional experience (3+ years), ideally with a focus on (IT) risk management or in the field of information security
• Practical experience with IT risk management frameworks as well as comprehensive knowledge of common standards and legal requirements (e.g., DORA, COBIT, ISO27001)
• Certifications such as CISM or CRISC are an advantage
• Structured, independent, and responsible work style
• Strong communication skills and high level of commitment
• Experience in project management
• Advanced IT skills and MS Office knowledge
• Very good knowledge of German and English (C1)

Starting date: immediately I Hours: 38.5 hours per week I Location: ICON Towers - directly at the main train station 1100 Vienna I
Gross annual salary: EUR 70.000,- (willingness to overpay depending on qualifications)
