The Stress Testing and Risk Planning unit is a Group-wide steering function for forward looking estimations of key risk indicators (risk costs, NPL, RWA, etc.) along with analysis of the actual developments. We coordinate and advise local entities and perform planning of the risk matrices for AT entities. Core activities include detailed analysis of key risk-related topics for senior management - via both stress testing and risk planning function (i.e geopolitical impacts).
Your Tasks
- Actively supporting and enabling a sound planning process for key risk indicators for the Group (such as NPL, risk costs, coverage, etc.)
- Support in critical assessment of interpretation of planning and stress testing assumptions and results, including first hand experience on how macroeconomic movements impact exposure to risks
- Participating in macroeconomic overlay model development and performing back-tests of the results
- Supporting team activities related to the performance of Group wide stress testing
Your Background
- Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a focus in (quantitative) finance, banking, mathematics, physics, statistics or economics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German skills are a strong advantage (other CEE languages are welcome)
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as problem solution approach and eagerness to learn
- MS Office knowledge - especially Excel - active use, or willingness to actively learn; programming knowledge (SAS, R, SQL) is an advantage
