The department Model Methodology & Development is the central function responsible for the development and maintenance of models used in the analysis of credit risk, in particular regulatory Pillar 1 IRB models, Pillar 2 and IFRS 9 models. It is also responsible for the definition of group-wide model development standards.

Your Tasks

• Support the LGD & CCF team in the development and maintenance of the group-wide credit risk model methodology
• Contribute to data-related topics, such as ensuring adequate data quality / consistency
• Create ad-hoc analyses and get involved in Run-The-Bank activities
• Communicate with our local counterparties to ensure consistent application of the methodology throughout the Group

Your Background

• Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences with a background in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Banking and (Quantitative) Finance
• Experience in a statistical programming language (e.g., Python, SQL, R) and MS Office
• Profound knowledge of applied statistics (e.g. multivariate data and regression analysis)
• Excellent command of spoken and written English (additionally German and/or other CEE language would be an advantage)
