Field Service Engineer Part Management (m/f/d)

This job revolves around the meticulous management of parts crucial for servicing and maintaining equipment. With a focus on efficiency and precision, this position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of service operations and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

• Handling parts for Service:
• Responsible for creating and maintaining scalable Service parts demand and Service Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Point of contact in Service for PPC and Logistics teams.
• Communication, bookkeeping and coordination of parts demand for Service in branches for planned and non-planned maintenance.
• Managing shipments of Service parts to abroad storages for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
• Accountable for Service parts handling process optimization.
• Responsible for Service parts for upgrades (roll-out):
• Determining part needs for upgrades (roll-out impacted tools list).
• Scheduling exchanges in alignment with Key Account & local Service Manager.
• Management of outdated parts (use up, return, scrap).
• Support role in Service:
• Perform standard and nonstandard maintenance tasks and support PMs on the MBMW tools in Austria and at Customer sites upon need.
• Willingness to travel abroad to collaborate with local engineers.

Your Qualification:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the semiconductor or automotive industry or 3 years within IMS
• Technical education in the fields of electrical or mechanical engineering or similar
• Careful, detailed and structured working method
• Strong communication and social skills as well as extraordinary service orientation
• Good knowledge of vacuum systems, electronics and/or mechanics
• Programming knowledge (SPS, Python) and experience with Linux systems is advantageous
• Practical experience in engineering (mechanical or electrical) preferred
