Your tasks

  • Develop and improve the classical and future product portfolio according to OMV´s product strategy, legal requirements, application and defined product characteristics with focus on sustainability in the field of Bitumen and Residual Fuels.
  • Lead and manage technical product development projects and related activities in international and publicly funded / non funded projects with industry partners, Universities and Research Institutes, including time schedule, cost and resource requirements.
  • Provide technical input for the selection of crude oils, alternative/renewable components and additives, specifications and standardization for Bitumen & Residual Fuels.
  • Support OMV's internal and external customers with technical and application expertise.
  • Develop product ideas, analyze product data and -options for technical and/or economical product improvements.
  • Provide technical input for the development of analytical test methods (especially rheological and chemical methods to characterize asphalt binder).

Your profile

  • You have a master's degree in chemical/ process engineering or a similar field.
  • You possess at least 7 years of relevant professional experience in the chemical or Bitumen/ Asphalt industry.
  • You have experience in project management and good knowledge of IT applications.
  • You are highly flexible and result-oriented.
  • Your strategic mindset contributes to the transformation strategy of the company.
  • You are fluent in both English and German.
