Job description

In your new job you will:

  • Drive, define and ensure execution of the product roadmap
  • Act as project owner of R&D projects and orchestrate marketing efforts and deliverables (business case development, requirements gathering, etc.) during the development project milestones
  • Lead a strategic area of the business , developing cross functional and cross divisional relations, collaborating with technical marketing, R&D, quality, operations and worldwide sales
  • Manage and develop a business strategy for the product portfolio, including value proposition building, development/management of leading customer opportunities, positioning and initial pricing
  • Analyze the market to gain an extensive understanding of the business environment and drive competitor analyses
  • Engage and build strategic relationships with key and channel customers
  • Develop sales collateral and training , orchestrate product launches and evangelize product families to wide internal and external audiences
  • Report routinely to top management regarding the status of the business and the development efforts
  • Represent the Product Line to internal and external partners worldwide

Profile

As Product Marketing Manager, you have a mix of marketing, business and technical knowledge. You have solid analytical and problem-solving skills, together with the entrepreneurial drive and interpersonal ability to develop networks and profitable business. As a strong team player, you enjoy working in interdisciplinary and international teams with multicultural backgrounds.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • A university degree in electrical or electronic engineering, microelectronics, or economics, MBA is a plus
  • Application engineering with a strong emphasis on product roadmap, product development, business development and driving revenue/profitability
  • Experience in a semiconductor or electrical system manufacturing company (industrial or automotive). Any experience working with a company or BU producing circuit breakers, relays or SSR is a distinctive plus
  • A successful track record for achieving results in dynamic markets, from business idea through execution to revenue.
  • An understanding of the targeted markets/applications and systems, especially power distribution and industrial automation
  • International relationship skills, strong partner/customer orientation and willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of the power semiconductor market and technologies (especially SiC - silicon carbide) as an advantage
  • Fluent spoken and written English, German skills as a plus

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
