Procurement Specialist Waste Management (f/m/d)

How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • You will analyse and optimise current processes of the existing waste management structures in the relevant countries where Aldi South operates
  • This involves project management and close collaboration with different stakeholders (mainly Sustainability Departments, Service Providers and National Procurement Teams)
  • Supporting the preparation and organisation of tenders for different waste fractions, including assistance with the negotiation processes are part of your responsibilities
  • You will conduct market analysis and deduce best practice concepts, along with managing changes in response to future market Trends
  • In addition you will prepare analyses, reports, and presentation documents

Your profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • Completed relevant studies, with a focus on economics, environmental aspects, sustainability, or a similar specialisation
  • You possess professional experience in the field of waste management or industries closely linked to reverse logistics
  • You have good knowledge of legal requirements, with a focus on European waste and environmental law
  • Excellent English and German language skills in both written and spoken manner are essential for this role
  • You have a structured, analytical, and independent approach to work
  • A high degree of initiative, team-working ability, negotiation skills, and organisational talent set you apart

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from EUR 52,700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
