YOUR TASKS

• Development and execution of global sourcing strategies for the defined product categories
• Understanding the business needs and acting proactive as a commercial & innovative expert as well as an enabler of the global value chain
• Responsibility for continuous development of suppliers regarding component quality, on time and in full delivery, processes, commercial performance and sustainability and environmental care
• Leading a team of 6 colleages and ensuring all relevant qualifications and skills in the department including their representation
• Supporting team members in negotiations and escalations and leading to achieve optimal results for the GG-Group
• Coordination, synchronization, and prioritization of topics and projects in the department keeping in mind the available resources
• Responsibility for the annual Performance and Goal Management Process
• Actively contributing to the development and transformation of the entire department and relevant cross-functional processes as circumstances might require

YOUR PROFILE

• At least 5 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the technical field and/or in a production company
• First leadership experience
• Completed business and/or technical training
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel) and SAP
• Analytical mindset, structured approach and technical understanding
• Strong negotiating skills and assertiveness
• High level of independence, self-motivation and decisiveness
• Business fluent in both English and German
• Readiness to travel (up to 25%)

• We are required by law to state the minimum salary for this position. According to our collective agreement, this is Euro 3.251,09 (full-time basis). The actual salary depends on your qualifications and previous experience and will be agreed in a personal interview.
