Frontend UI/UX Developer Qt / QML / MedTech (f/m/d)
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on the challenges of creating complex medical devices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop modern GUIs utilizing the Qt framework and QML / Qt Quick
- Collaborate closely with a product management for UI/UX design
- Contribute to software architecture design and updates
- Perform functional and unit tests for newly implemented features
- Work closely with the verification team for software integration
- Collaborate with various teams to grasp requirements and ensure smooth integrations
- Ensure adherence to development standards and guidelines based on ISO 62304 (software lifecycle process)
- Create technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
- Mentor other team members
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and adhere to best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in UI/UX design and development
- Proficiency in software development using in the Qt framework, QML and C++.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, and unit testing
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Independent, methodical and structured work approach
- Team player with proficiency in German and English
- Completed specialized education (university, university of applied sciences) in computer science, telematics, biomedical engineering, or related technical fields
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Jenkins
- Experience in continuous integration and automated testing
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
