Take your engineering career to the next level and strengthen our team at the Royal Canin plant in Bruck an der Leitha (30 min drive from Vienna) as Controls & Automation Engineer. In this position you are responsible for all Automation Engineering projects on site including development and implementation of a Controls masterplan for our factory in Bruck/Leitha, whilst ensuring conformance to legislation and Mars standards. What are we looking for?
- Degree in Automation Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics
- A minimum of 5 years of experience on the job in relevant area
- Profound knowledge of PLC, SCADA, MES and ERP systems
- Stand-alone and problem-solving skills to tackle complex project challenges
- Strong project management skills to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Proven ability to work effectively within high-performing teams and contribute to a collaborative environment
- Strong communication, listening, and influencing skills to engage and motivate team members and stakeholders
- Fluent English skills and basic German skills are essential
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead the design and execution of projects, ensuring compliance with legal and MARS standards, while applying and enhancing global control standards at site
- Manage multiple responsibilities including project execution, functional support, personal development, with a focus on growing in the role
- Drive the initiation and implementation of technical improvements across factory facilities to enhance efficiency and performance
- Actively engage and lead project team members, encouraging proactive performance and ownership of assigned tasks
- Oversee and coordinate the work of external contractors, ensuring effective management and seamless project execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and all factory departments to ensure smooth integration, efficient project delivery, and aligned objectives
- Ensure delivery of assigned objectives in scope, time, budget, and cash flow
