EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (M/W/D)

Your tasks:

• Implementation and test of embedded firmware for various microcontrollers
• Industrial communication, both high-level (Ethernet, CAN) and low-level (sensors)
• Embedded Linux development for machine controllers (focus on interfacing hardware)
• Development of tools making life easier

Your profile:

• BSc/MSc in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Basic experience with embedded software development (C, C++)
• Ability to read schematics and debug embedded software on real hardware
• Enjoying complex tasks requiring versatile skills

Opportunity to learn more about:

• Developing and debugging on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
• Understanding highly integrated microcontrollers like the NXP i.MX RT
• Using tools like oscilloscopes or logic analyzers
• Interfacing hardware via SPI, UART, I2C etc.
• Understanding servo drive technology, motion control and robotics
• CAN (FD) communication, CANopen protocol
