Job Description
As a Principal SDET, you will take ownership for the complete testing lifecycle of highly complex projects or features, encompassing test design, automation development, and production monitoring (including crashes and any production-related issues) within their squad or multiple squads they are overseeing.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work within a cross functional agile team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Significantly enhances automation code structure and framework or design and implement from scratch, focusing on improving maintainability, execution speed, and coverage.
- Engages in writing, co-writing, and reviewing test design and plan documentation.
- Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in a specific technology area while maintaining a working understanding of how related systems interact with their technology stack.
- Takes the lead in conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new languages or frameworks within their technical focus area.
- Leads the design and code review process for test automation, actively seeking and providing constructive criticism.
- Possesses a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Assumes accountability for ensuring that their squad or multiple squads they are overseeing maintains robust documentation and records detailing the evolution of test design, architecture, and product over time.
- Ensures predictability, quality, and efficiency in their squad's delivery or deliveries of multiple squads they are overseeing.
- Prioritizes and recognizes the importance of addressing maintenance and technical debt within the automation framework.
- Escalate challenges that fall outside their control but have an impact on the squad's delivery or deliveries of multiple squads they are overseeing.
Qualifications
- Advance in Test Management, the process of managing the testing activities to ensure high quality and high-end testing of the software.
- Advance in Test Strategy, an outline that describes the testing approach of the software development cycle.
- Advance in Test designing, can analyze potential impact of feature across software, hardware
- Advance in the creation of Test Automation Frameworks, a set of components that facilitate executing tests and comprehensive reporting of test results.
- Advanced level of User Acceptance Testing, the last phase of the software testing process carried out by the user or client to determine whether it can be accepted or not.
- Advance in IT Risk Management, the policies, procedures, and technologies that a company uses to mitigate threats from malicious actors and reduce information technology vulnerabilities.
- Advance in Troubleshooting, systematic process of identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues or problems that arise in various systems, devices, or processes.
- Expertise in Linux command and DB queries.
- Experience with cross browser testing and expertise in one of Cloud Device solutions like Browserstack and LambdaTest
- Advance Systems Testing, testing conducted on a complete integrated system to evaluate the system's compliance with its specified requirements.
- Advance level in at least one of modern programming languages such as, C# and Python.
- Experienced in leading Testing of large project with multiple stakeholders and dependencies. Has experience in coordinating with tech and non tech teams to find ways to proceed testing.
