Product Owner Retail (f/m/x) - Business Credit Cards

Card Issuing is a department within Retail Payment & Daily Banking division, responsible for RBI´s credit card business on the Austrian market. We have a strong private individuals customer base and have lately completed our card portfolio with the introduction of a business product for legal entities. We strongly commit to further invest in our people, products and technology to continue shaping the Austrian (cards) payment landscape.

As a Product Owner, you will take over the product responsibility for Business Cards (legal entities) within the Card Issuing team and work on further driving sustained business growth by creating superior customer experience.


Your mission at RBI

  • Take over product responsibility for Business Credit Cards (legal entities)
  • Drive continuous product improvement through metrics and user-driven insights to secure sustainable business growth
  • Acting as representative and central point of contact for your product; within the Card Issuing team, the RBI AT credit card tribe (agile setup) and expert groups within Raiffeisen Sektor AT
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan as well as maintaining and executing on the Card Issuing product roadmap
  • Identify and capitalize on new business trends and opportunities in-line with the RBI Retail strategy
  • Optimize UX and further build out customer self-service channels, utilizing capabilities within RBI group
  • Continuously monitor and measure product and business performance to secure sustainable business development and derive corrective measure (if applicable)

Your core competencies

  • 5+ years of experience in the credit cards industry as a Product Manager / Product Owner
  • Demonstrated project and product deliveries; solid experience of working in agile environments
  • Well-developed product management skills including agile environments
  • A deep understanding of the credit card business and/or card based financial solutions
  • You have a holistic understanding of the credit card issuing value chain and related processes
  • Working knowledge of applicable card & banking, regulatory and compliance policies / laws / regulations
  • Effective communication and persuasion skills to deal with internal and external stakeholders, including C-level management
  • For this position German and English skills are mandatory

  • Salary: starting at EUR 80.000,-- gross p.a. (basis full-time) including overtime depending on qualification and experience.
