Procurement Expert - SCM & Warehouse (f/m/d)
How You'll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
- As Procurement Expert you'll develop the negotiation strategy and lead the negotiation process on projects exceeding EUR100 million
- You'll work closely with international departments, national organisations, technology suppliers, and external consultants on Warehouse Automation and Supply Chain projects
- Your responsibilities include evaluating tender documents and contracts of suppliers and service Providers
- You'll negotiate key commercial and legal terms within contracts
- In this role you'll develop new procurement strategies and present them to the wider business
- This involves understanding the supplier base and capabilities as well as internal policies and guidelines in order to consult effectively
- You'll consult on existing vendors and inquire new supplier relationships
- You'll ensure security of supply considering quality- and sustainability-aspects
- Ensuring business wide compliance with all sourcing activities and accurate reporting on products and services procured is a matter of course to you
- Additionally you'll prepare diverse analyses, reports, and presentation documents and consult on market, supplier, and price analyses
Your profile
The requirements of the role include:
- You have a university degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Technology, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration
- You possess several years of work experience in supply chain technology, procurement and/or supply chain consultancy
- You are fluent in written and spoken English and German (C1 level)
- As expert you have a deep understanding of and involvement in strategic negotiations
- You have strong commercial and contract acumen
- You have an analytical, structured, and results-oriented approach to work
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with a high level of assertiveness are your strong parts
- You have an understanding of supply chain technologies (e.g. warehouse automation)
- You are confident using MS Office
- You have a structured and solution-oriented working style
- You are a self-starter with an innovative mindset

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from EUR 74,500
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
