The AT Risk Solutions department is responsible for operating and analyzing the further development of risk management systems and credit-related systems (collateral, information systems, exposure). The target group of the applications is primarily Erste Bank Österreich, the savings banks and their functional subsidiaries.

What to do:

  • Support our agile team in analysis of technical requirements with specialist departments and customers (Erste Bank and Sparkassen)
  • Create functional and technical specifications, working with the development team (internal and sourcing partners) to implement, test, and introduce new software components
  • Perform technical analysis of existing and extending functions in mainframe-based solutions
  • Co-design and set quality standards along the entire product life cycle
  • Define and communicate architectural vision and strategy with stakeholders to understand strategic requirements
  • Evaluate and choose tools, technologies, and frameworks, considering trade-offs and risks
  • Provide technical guidance and feedback to improve capabilities and drive innovation and continuous improvement

You check these boxes:

  • Several years of experience in software development or software analysis and engineering, ideally in a mainframe environment or with operating system Natural
  • Good knowledge of risk management systems and UML modeling in banking
  • Extensive knowledge of Agile software development with third-party software validation and integration
  • Experience creating specifications in English
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork, presentation, and moderation abilities
  • Structured and independent approach to work, with ability to quickly learn new subject areas
  • Excellent MS Office proficiency
  • Fluent in German and English
