Tasks

• You are responsible for the commercial management and strategic procurement processes in the central License and Data Procurement team of the Lufthansa Group.
• You establish and develop purchasing strategies, including market analysis,assessing the number of potential suppliers, and evaluating alternatives to products and services.
• You develop and handle professional supplier management through the whole cycle: supplier qualification and onboarding (supplier development, master data management, claimmanagement, risk management, relationship management, etc.)
• You lead complex multi-million value tenders on the market with evaluation of offers, shortlisting, supplier presentations and contract negotiations.

Requirements

• You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Law, or Data Analytics.
• You gained at least 5-7 years of professional experience in procurement or other negotiation-intensive role and several years of project management experience.
• You have relevant experience and deep understanding of license and/or data contracts, models and pricing schemes and current trends.
• You have excellent negotiation and communication skills and a results-orientated work ethic with the ability to resolve conflicts.
• Your potential legal knowledge, especially in contract management might be an advantage.
• You can confidently work in English language, German is considered as advantage.
• You have unrestricted access to the Austrian labor market.
