We offer the following reserach topic:
The rise of battery electric vehicles has increased the focus on noise and vibration, especially from the Electric Drive Unit (EDU). Low overall noise levels in EVs make tonal noises more noticeable, while high-speed, high-power applications introduce new NVH challenges. To address this, a reliable and efficient acoustic simulation model, including accurate gear contact modeling, is needed. The goal of this thesis is to simulate the NVH and correlates the EDU NVH performance the best with real hardware measurements.
The successful completion of the thesis is remunerated with a one-time fee of 3.500,00 EUR before tax.
