MyGroove App is an innovative startup from Red Bull, designed to revolutionise the way people experience learning and playing an instrument. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Project Manager for our Pattern Recognition to join our team and lead efforts in data management, testing, and continuous improvement of our pattern recognition systems. In this role, you'll drive key projects, working with both internal and external partners to optimize our AI models and ensure high-quality user experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

System Development

Lead improvements and design of audio recognition and pattern matching systems.

Data Management

Oversee selection, annotation, and quality control of training and test data.

Testing & QA

Coordinate testing workflows, identify bugs, and ensure model reliability across instruments.

Collaboration

Manage communications and tasks with internal teams and external partners, including translation providers.

User Experience

Develop user-centric features and optimize scoring and feedback to enhance engagement and satisfaction.

Experience

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

That matter most for this role:

  • Passion for music, with expertise in audio recognition and pattern recognition.
  • German (native) and English (fluent)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Machine Learning and AI.
  • Proven experience in project management, especially in tech or AI-driven projects.
  • Strong skills in data management, annotation processes, and quality control.
  • Proficiency in testing workflows, QA, and bug identification.
  • Solid understanding of music and audio analysis, including MIDI data and sound pattern recognition.
  • Excellent analytical skills for interpreting data and optimizing models.
  • Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external teams.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Travel: 0-10 %

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR2.229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
