We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to establish and lead a Technical Project Management Office (PMO) within our Operations organization.
In this role you will be responsible for developing a structured PMO framework for technical projects, ensuring adherence to governance processes and fostering alignment across internal and external stakeholders. The role involves overseeing technical improvement projects, technical innovation initiatives, and data-driven quality assurance ideas, while driving transparency, consistency and efficiency in project execution.
You'll design, implement and maintain the PMO structure to support technical projects. Establish clear governance processes, including project organization, gate reviews (ideation, prototype, rollout), and meeting structures (cadence, participants). Develop standardized templates and tools to facilitate project management.
All projects follow a transparent and consistent process and coordinate with internal departments such as Technology, Quality, Procurement, and external partners. You align on objectives and deliverables. The facilitation of cross-functional collaboration and drive of consensus among stakeholders is also part of your role.
You'll oversee a diverse portfolio of technical improvement and innovation projects. Collaborate closely with individual project managers to understand the scope, timeline and budget of projects. The development and implementation of KPIs to measure project performance and status and provide regular reporting on the overall project portfolio to senior management is also in your scope. Furthermore you identify and mitigate risks, support the Project Managers to resolve issues, and that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
In this role you drive process improvements to enhance project delivery and organizational efficiency. Stay updated on best practices in project management and PMO structures to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of technical project execution.
