Your Mission

Are you ready to lead a team that drives engineering excellence? As the Team Leader Engineering for Valves and Rings & Packing, you will take charge of our Application Engineering group in Vienna, directly contributing to the success of HOERBIGER's sales and order processes. You'll play a key role as a functional process interface between Inter Company Sales and Segment Engineering, supporting tasks across Europe and parts of Asia.

How you will make a difference

• Technical Coordination: Manage and guide engineering tasks to ensure successful project execution.
  • Quote Preparation: Lead the creation of detailed and competitive proposals for special projects.
  • Troubleshooting Support: Provide expert assistance to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Project Monitoring: Oversee engineering projects to maintain timelines and quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster interdepartmental cooperation and seamless communication.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop case studies and maintain updated reference lists to drive continuous improvement.

What you should be good at

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in compressor component engineering, with a track record of success.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to guide, motivate, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to tackle challenges and find effective solutions.
  • SAP Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP processes for seamless workflow integration.
  • Tech Savvy: Ideally, initial experience with ESM software for engineering management.
