Are you passionate about sustainability regulations and developments, and have a strong technical and data affinity? As Sustainability Data and Process Development Expert, you'll support and establish necessary process changes within our systems to manage our Sustainability Program!

Sustainability Reporting means much more than complying with regulations; it is part of a key strategic priority for us as a company. As a primary objective, it needs to be incorporated in everything we do, in every process we manage, across all departments, at all levels of the organisation. Amongst other consequences, this will lead to a significant increase of the data granularity we need to collect and manage on a regular basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Areas that play to your strengths

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

You'll lead sustainability data integration work packages and ensure timely execution. You'll define a detailed project plan with realistic project timelines in close alignment with all involved departments, follow up on the achievement of milestones during the project phases, document them in our project management tools and make sure that deadlines are met. Moreover, you'll set the right priorities and communicate pro-actively with all involved parties, identify bottlenecks and find alternatives to remove roadblocks.

DEVELOPMENT, DOCUMENTATION, TESTING & SUPPORT

You'll collect business and process requirements, coordinate them with cross-functional stakeholders and translate them into structured and detailed requirements documentation (so-called BSS - Business Scope Statement) for the IT implementation. You'll be responsible to test all implemented solutions to ensure high quality and functional integration of all technical developments and after successful testing you'll conduct trainings and ensure proper documentation.

In addition, you'll be responsible for 2nd level support for the newly developed solutions.

BUSINESS & TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

With your business expertise (e.g. CSRD, GHG, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD), technical expertise (e.g. systems, interfaces, data integration, data modelling, reporting) and business process management, you'll implement business concepts and data modelling structures.

BUSINESS PARTNERING

You'll act as a reliable business partner for Sustainability, Finance, Data, IT, Operations, Legal etc. as well as a "translator/link" between Business and IT. To become a recognised business partner, you'll communicate efficiently and effectively with all stakeholders and provide insights on sustainability data development & integration projects.
