ÖSB Consulting GmbH, based in Vienna, Austria, is looking to expand and further develop its portfolio of international projects. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Project Coordinator for our "Technical Assistance" division, with a focus on the company's core areas of labour market support, youth development, health, and sustainability.
Project Coordinator (f/m/d) for International Technical Assistance / Development Cooperation Projects
Location: Vienna, Austria
Part-time/Full-time (20-40h), Start date: February 2025
Your tasks
- Coordination and further development of the "Technical Assistance" business area within the company
- Concept development and submission of applications (tenders, grants) with international funding, including budget preparation, text drafting for tender proposals/grant applications, search for partners and experts
- Management of international technical assistance projects
- Establishing a network of potential partners
- Expansion of the international pool of experts in the field of technical assistance
- Monitoring and assessment of relevant financing instruments
- External representation of the "Technical Assistance" business area at national and international meetings and events
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in project design and the preparation and submission of tenders or grants for international projects in the fields of technical assistance, capacity building, and development cooperation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of financing instruments and procedures of donors at the EU level (e.g., IPA, NDICI) and/or international level (e.g., World Bank, EBRD, ILO, UN, etc.)
- Several years of professional experience in project management within the EU/international context
- Strong interest in designing new projects and further development of the "Technical Assistance" business area
- Experience in writing project proposals, including budget preparation and financial planning
- Well-developed organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously within limited timeframes and while working independently
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills along with a strong intercultural competence
- Country expertise in the Western Balkans and/or EU neighbouring countries is considered an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of German and any additional languages are considered an asset.

Remuneration is based on the Austrian collective agreement for the "Information and Consulting" sector, guaranteeing a minimum salary of 3.284,86 EUR (VWG IV with 2 years of credible experience) for 40 hours per week, along with a bonus for successful project acquisitions. Any additional experience may be accredited to a higher salary level.
