Holding Controlling is a department in Erste Group's Performance Management Division and performs the full scope of activities related to planning, measuring and reporting the financial performance of Erste Group Bank AG. Besides its single entity responsibility it covers the group-wide business support for the bank's divisionalized Business Lines in Group Corporates & Markets. The department also features the competence center for Activity Based Costing agendas of Erste Group in Austria and has a strong involvement in the bank's BI initiatives.

Your Tasks

• Continuous self-advancement in general and Erste Group specific banking and Controlling know-how
• Shaping of the bank's Activity Based Costing processes with a focus on Austrian entities
• Calculation and planning of standard prices as well as transaction volumes
• Performance of monthly cost allocation, deviation analyses, and presentation of results to Business stakeholders
• Creation and interpretation of standard reports and overarching performance analyses
• Participation and contribution to various Business and BI initiatives and projects to further shape and develop our performance management framework
• Point of contact in Holding Controlling for a variety of stakeholders such as EG's Business Lines, Product Management, Group Controlling as well as counterparts in Erste Digital, Information Management, Risk Management and ALM

Your Background

• University degree in Finance or IT with financial/economic background
• Professional experience in the fields of finance, banking or controlling
• Experience in handling, processing and analyzing large amounts of data via SQL, VBA, Tableau, XLCubed, Webfocus, SAP, MS Office etc.
• Strong in analytical thinking with advanced communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to pro-actively gather and share knowledge as well as to take on tasks individually
• Fluent in German and English

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 43.554,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
