Your main tasks at a glance:
- Comprehensive review of logistics costs: Analyze and evaluate supply chain, warehousing, shipping, and insurance costs to identify savings opportunities.
- Streamlined Supply Chain Management: Manage end-to-end supply chain operations with a focus on timely customer deliveries, cost optimization, and compliance with insurance policies.
- Collaborative Order Processing Support: Work closely with the Order Processing Team to ensure efficient handling of customer orders, including delivery schedules and insurance verifications.
- International co-operation: Cooperation with logistics partners in Europe and China to ensure punctual delivery dates and compliance with insurance requirements.
- Inventory and Supplier Coordination: Oversee stock levels and align with procurement to guarantee seamless and punctual deliveries.
- Warehouse management: optimizing warehousing and ensuring that goods are available on time, taking insurance cover into account.
- Warehouse location optimization: analysis and adjustment of warehouse locations to reduce costs, including review of insurance cover.
- Process optimization: Improvement of inbound and outbound processes to reduce costs, increase delivery efficiency and meet insurance requirements.
- Claims management: Contact person for insurance companies in the event of damage, with responsibility for rapid processing and provision of all documents such as damage documentation and transport reports, as well as coordination with insurance companies, logistics partners and internal departments.
Your profile: What you should bring with you:
- Experience in logistics and supply chain management: Many years of professional experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
- Expertise in purchasing and inventory processes:In-depth knowledge of purchasing, inventory management and warehouse logistics processes and their efficient control.
- Understanding of processes and confident demeanor: Strong understanding of business processes with a professional and convincing demeanor.
- System experience: Experience in working with relevant systems, ideally Microsoft Business Central, as well as knowledge of transport and warehouse insurance.
- Language skills: Fluency in English is essential. German and other foreign language skills are an advantage.
- Structured and solution-orientated way of working: Precise, structured and goal-oriented approach to analyzing and solving challenges.
