NANOFABRICATION MANAGER (F/M/X)
(full-time, 40h per week)
Main tasks:
- Independently running the cleanroom facilities and guaranteeing a smooth operation
- Contact with companies for equipment and facilities maintenances
- Playing an important part in the development of methods for state-of-the-art processes and discussing ideas with the students and scientists
- Enabling knowledge transfer
- Establishing and maintaining safety procedures in the cleanroom
- Training of new users on machines and cleanroom safety procedures
Your profile:
- PhD in physics, material sciences or engineering, ideally with post-graduate experience
- Expertise in photo- and electron beam lithography
- Experience in thin film deposition, e-beam evaporation, RIE etching
- Strong background in micro and nanofabrication
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Good communication skills

We offer an annual gross salary of EUR 50.029,70 before taxes based on the salary scheme of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. An overpayment based on qualifications and professional experience can be negotiated.
