Senior Transactional Product Line Manager (m/f/d)
The position involves strategic development and implementation, defining the product line's strategic direction, developing business plans, and collaborating closely with regional teams and product management. It includes P&L accountability, revenue growth strategies, cost reduction programs, financial performance monitoring, and value-based pricing model implementation. The role also entails contract management, coordination between internal teams, customer relationship management, and team leadership.

Your Requirements:
- Strategic:
- Own the Transactional (=TX) product line with all associated execution processes & control functions
- Define together with your regional counterparts and product management how the product will be performed in various markets around the world
- Ensure the product line revenue growth path and profitability by constant product adaptions and development
- Drive process simplification and automation by among others performing a clean-up and a reduction of execution complexity
- Standardize service request across regions by proactive cooperation with local teams and IT to explore manual process steps automation
- Develop and maintain up to date process maps with relevant teams, steps, and systems
- Operational:
- Define go-to-market activities together with the service product management and service sales to improve customer satisfaction, share of wallet or regain lost customers
- Respond to shifting or changing market situations with adapted offerings and sales programs
- Stay up-to-date with our customer situation through our market intelligence, sales, and regular customer visits, and prepare activities for optimal market exploitation
- Digitize processes and scopes to ensure fast interactions internally and to our customers
- Support initiatives to connect Jenbacher engines to our digital MyPlant program, supporting service forecasting and planning. As well as our remote service growth path
- Take responsibility for the pricing strategy of our transactional price lists, which include spare parts, field services, consulting, and commissioning support
- Provide assurance that go to market processes acknowledged and implemented. Ensure that internal controls are complete, followed, and compliant
- Participate in business reviews and support our head of services and finance with respective analytics / KPIs
- Organizational:
- Liaise and collaborate with regional service and sales teams, Service Operations, Service Finance, Fulfillment, Billing teams to solve complex issues and implement sustainable working and go to market solutions
- Perform business reviews with Service Sales and align on effectiveness of go to market strategies and marketing activities
Your Profile:
- Several years of experience in Product Line Management, Business Execution, Business Development
- Bachelor / Master in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar education
- Profound knowledge of business development, business execution and fulfillment
- Background in marketing campaign management advantageous
- Ability to challenge existing processes, problem solving
- Strong analytic skills: generate alternatives and drive positive change
- Hands-on approach and autonomous in work
- Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information
- Experience with operational systems/applications, ERP, MS-Office applications
- Excellent communication and team skills as well as the ability to work across departments
- Fluency in English and German
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
