Lead Engine Investigation Specialist (m/f/d)
As the technical expert for engine investigations, you will lead projects focused on engine and component analysis, ensuring KPI improvements and fostering collaboration with all relevant internal roles involved. Based on the investigation results, you will initiate and drive process and technical improvements in order to guarantee a positive and sustainable customer experience.

Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical engine and warranty parts investigations; compile reports
- Participate in disassembly of unplanned engine removals; ensure documentation
- Analyze engine control systems, oil, cooling water, and maintenance records
- Support issue resolution with INNIO's quality and engineering teams
- Guide engineers on-site for investigations and issue resolution
- Provide insights on unplanned engine removals for next steps and updates
Your Profile:
- Bachelor/Master's in engineering or equivalent (e.g., HTL)
- Experience with Jenbacher products or reciprocating engines
- Experience in borescope / videoscope inspection and digital photography desired
- Knowledge of material testing and measurement methods beneficial
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Independent, proactive, and flexible work style
- Good communication skills; fluency in German and good English
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Willingness to travel occasionally
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
