The Group Controlling Manager is responsible for overseeing the Group Controlling team who closely monitors the financial developments of the Red Bull Group (Volume, P&L, BS & CF) and reports the developments to Shareholders, Management Board, Global Head of Operative Finance and Head of Global Controlling.
The Group Controlling Manager along with the team, plays a central role in the coordination of consolidating the 3 Pillars of the Red Bull Business; Beverage, Corporate Marketing Projects and HQ to ensure the key financial developments are communicated to senior management.
In addition, the willingness to start or strengthen your role as a future-proof finance sparring partner will be strongly supported (e.g. Analytics Tools, coding skills such as Python and R, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI). With the use of these analytics tools and coding know-how, you'll bring yourself and the job to the next level.
RESPONSIBILITIES

TEAM & ORGANISATION
- Coordinate and lead a highly efficient and professional Group Controlling Team.
- Ensure team goals are clear, organised and structured while giving honest and fair feedback. Continuously drive efficiency and improvements across files, processes and ways of working.
- Be a sparring partner for the Team and in addition, assist, provide support and step in when required.
- Coordinate Group processes and liaise with other HQ Finance departments like Treasury and Accounting, to ensure smooth procedures.
BUSINESS UNDERSTANDING
- Understand the content behind the Group financial statements to ensure reporting accuracy and "storytelling" to Shareholders and Senior Management is valid and precise.
- Across all reporting throughout the year (Month-End Closing, Rolling Forecast, Planning) ensure the story is consistent and upcoming financial developments are understood and tracked.
- Keep up to speed in a fast-paced environment where developments in content, structures, reporting and systems are common.
MONTH/YEAR END CLOSING & ANALYSIS
- Provide standard reporting packages, presentations and analysis for Shareholders and Senior Management on a monthly basis.
- Provide insights across all financial statements; P&L, CAPEX, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, KPIs and Key Figures.
- Provide key analysis and reports versus Plan and Prior Year and also cleared of foreign currency effects.
- Ensure the Rolling Forecast is complete and plausible for the Red Bull Group by consolidating, reviewing and presenting the proposal to Finance Management.
PLANNING
- Ensures the Group Planning Submissions for the official planning cycles are realistic, accurate and high quality.
- Responsible for the Group Shareholder Presentations and Planning Reporting packages for the CFO and Senior Management.
- Ensure Preliminary Shadow Plans are consolidated
- Preparation and coordination of the HQ Finance Calendar with all key stakeholders and ensuring that due dates are kept.
GENERAL
- Ownership and business partner for internal Graphical Display Guidelines used for charts, tables and reports.
- Act as a messenger between upper management and Group Controlling team so all goals and ad-hoc requests are clear and delivered on time.
Experience
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
That matter most for this role:
- 5-10 years of professional experience within the controlling or reporting area.
- Strong English skills, German language is a plus.
- Management Experience is a plus.
- Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge (High level in Excel & PowerPoint) including VBA.
- Familiarity with business analysis tools like SAP FI/CO, SAP BI and Hyperion is of advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a strong disposition towards accuracy.
- Proactive, self-motivated and directed, able to work with different topics in parallel in a fast-paced environment, good communication and presentation skills, team player, strong analytical skills, results and performance-driven.
- Project management experience in a complex and structured organizational environment is beneficial.
- Willingness to build on existing knowledge/ learn data analytics and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.691 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
