THE "DATA INTELLIGENCE" TEAM:
Join our innovative Data Intelligence team at the forefront of our business transformation. We currently use SSIS for ETL and SQL Server for SQL scripting, but we're transitioning to Matillion for ELT and Snowflake for advanced SQL scripting. This shift will enhance our data quality and analytics capabilities, allowing us to deliver powerful insights and solutions.

As part of this team, you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies and methodologies, contributing to projects that drive significant business impact. You'll collaborate with a talented and motivated group of professionals, all committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible with data.

THE "DATA ANALYST" ROLE:
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join a growing team where you will maintain and further enhance our data analytics capabilities using tools like Snowflake, SQL, and Power BI. You will also need good business understanding and communication skills for the day-to-day work with internal business functions, central expert teams, and vendors.

One of the key projects will be to support the migration towards a global Enterprise Data Platform (Data Ocean) and leveraging tools such as Snowflake, Git, and Power BI.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare Data and Conduct Deep Data Analysis: Source, prepare, and integrate data for analysis from diverse business and operational processes. Analyze and interpret data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making processes.
  • Design, Develop, Deploy, and Maintain BI Reporting Suites: Including dataflows, semantic models, front-end reports, dashboards, and BI solutions.
  • Develop and Deliver Management Information: Produce one-off reports to provide insights and aid decision-making.
  • Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with various teams, including commercial and consumer streams, to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights. Prototype and refine visualizations and reports, recommending and suggesting better ways of visualizing data.
  • Ensure Data Quality in Reports: Implement mechanisms to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency within BI reports.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • You have graduated in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a Data Analyst role, working with SQL(Snowflake preferred), and Power BI including DAX, Dataflows, Deployment pipelines etc..
  • Certification in relevant technologies such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in SQL and with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
  • Good to have proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language such as PowerShell or Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting tasks.
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken - German is a plus.
  • Uphold professional conduct and integrity in all interactions, demonstrating accountability, respect, and professionalism, even in challenging situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrate resilience in overcoming obstacles and setbacks, maintaining a positive attitude and persevering towards goals.
