Process Engineer - Wastewater (m/f/d)
in full time (38,5 h/week)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead process engineer for technology-driven, critical milestone projects
• Process engineering for sales, execution, commissioning, and operation of WWTP
• Analysis of tender documents, development of processes & treatment concepts, risk assessment (e.g., Bid/No-Bid)
• Process engineering (process & hydraulic design, flow & mass balance, biological simulations) per international standards (ATV, Metcalf & Eddy, ETA, and local)
• Preparation of P&IDs, layout concepts, and civil design review
• Preparation of reports (conceptual reports, control philosophy, operations manual)
• Collaboration with mechanical, civil, EMSR, construction, commissioning, and operations teams
• Support for Sales & Execution teams and local engineers
• Development of new processes/applications (R&D)

Field of application

• Projects in municipal and industrial wastewater and sludge treatment
• Projects in Middle East and Africa region

Qualifications

• Completed studies in process engineering, environmental engineering, chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field
• At least 15 years of experience in wastewater treatment
• Strong proficiency in English (knowledge of an additional foreign language is an advantage)
• Extensive technical knowledge and IT skills (Office, AutoCAD, BioWin, etc.)
• Independence, strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
• High willingness to travel

For this position the minimum monthly gross salary starting at EUR 5,500 with 15 years of experience in fulltime. An overpayment is determined in accordance with your individual qualification and relevant professional experience.
