Corporate Affairs & Communication Manager (m/f/d)
Are you passionate about shaping corporate narratives and building strong stakeholder relationships? As our Corporate Affairs and Communication Manager, you will lead external communication, support strategic decisions, and drive community investment initiatives, ensuring our brand's voice is heard and respected.
Position:
As the Corporate Affairs and Communication Manager, you will manage:
- Corporate Affairs/Public Affairs: Assist the CA&C Director in strategic decisions related to excise tax and regulatory matters. You will act as the point of contact for relevant stakeholders and maintain and expand the business network.
- External Communication: Handle media relations, oversee the JTI website, and plan and execute stakeholder publications, events, and campaigns. You will serve as the local contact for JTI Corporate Branding and support Brand Managers in their communication activities.
- Internal Communication: Organize internal events, contribute to the Inside Magazine, and handle various internal announcements.
- Community Investment: Support issues related to the JTI Collection and supervise the Coordinator function in community investment activities.
- Cross-functional Projects: Provide communication expertise for various projects across CRM, Finance, HR, and other functions. You will draft and review advertorials and wordings.
Within 6 months you will:
- establish strong relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and brand representation
- lead the planning and execution of major internal and external events, setting the foundation for ongoing strategic initiatives
Requirements:
- University degree in Law, Politics, Economics, or Communication
- Extensive work experience in Corporate Affairs/Public Affairs Corporate Communication, Media Relations, and Corporate Sponsoring (7+ years)
- Proficiency in German and English
- Strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, ability to manage multiple projects, and proficiency in stakeholder engagement
