The IT audit team in the Markets and Central Functions Department is responsible for performing IT Audits in IT departments in direct responsibility of Erste Group Bank AG (Erste Digital, Group Organization, foreign branches, functional subsidiaries). A number of Austrian Savings Banks outsourced the internal audit responsibilities to Group Audit. Another key responsibility is the coordination of IT Audit Activities within Erste Group (governance of CEE group entities).

Your Tasks

• Perform IT Audits as part of the IT Audit team in Austria as well as in cooperation with colleagues in our subsidiaries. Support our IT units concerning IT Audit topics.
• The focus of IT Audits is on the processes and controls in the areas: IT Strategy, Governance, IT Projects, Change Management, IT Operation, Incident Management, Information Security, IT Architecture and Network
• During the Audit work you will be responsible to:
  - develop or tailor audit programs based on common audit standards and relevant best practice for audited area,
  - test controls and document adequate audit evidence,
  - prepare and reconcile Audit Reports and
  - follow up findings and recommendations
• Ensure a high quality of audit results
• Participate in joint audits together with business auditors, addressing business process risks and overlapping Business and IT responsibilities.

Your Background

• Experience in information technology of minimum 5 years or more. Ideally a University Degree in a Computer Science area and/or relevant practical experience
• You are a specialist in one or more of the following fields: IT Audit, IT Security, IT Governance/Software Development/IT Operations
• You are willing to cooperate in a team with other auditors and members of different subsidiaries in the group and communicate well in critical situations
• Knowledge of IT Audit- and security-relevant standards like COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL
• To support joint audits between business and IT, knowledge of banking business is appreciated
• CISA or other relevant certifications
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and possess foundational skills in German

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 48.323 gross per year. But this is just a formality - we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
