The NEXTSENSE software team is looking for a

SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (M/W/D)

As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in the technical implementation of interfaces between end devices, UI frontends and cloud services. Your focus will be on scalable, secure and high-performance integration of user interaction with our products--both on the device and in the cloud.

At NEXTSENSE we follow a full-stack approach to make innovative technologies optimally usable for our users. You will contribute significantly to the technical architecture, development, and standardization of our cloud and UI solutions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsibility for the user interfaces of our product portfolio including UI frontends on the devices and cloud services for data processing and visualization
• Technical leadership and further development of our cloud solutions
• Architecture, development and scaling of cloud services for the entire device portfolio
• Design and implementation of interfaces between UI frontend and backend
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize the user experience
• Continuous improvement of cloud and UI integration standards
• Evaluation and integration of new technologies in cloud services
• Ensuring best practices in CI/CD, testing and deployment

YOUR PROFIL

• Degree in Software Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Substantial experience as a Senior Developer, preferably with a track record of technical leadership
• Experience in cloud development with technologies such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or similar platforms
• Strong knowledge of scalable cloud architectures and distributed systems
• Familiarity with security aspects, such as X.509 certificates, TPM 2.0, and authentication mechanisms
• Experience with modern API technologies, such as gRPC, REST, OpenAPI, or GraphQL
• Knowledge of UI-backend integration is a plus
• Passion for user-centered technologies in UI and cloud
• Hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented mindset, focusing on sustainable, scalable implementations
• Fluent in German and English
