For our client, Siemens AG Austria, we are looking for a Legal Counsel (f/m/d) effective immediately, based in 1210 Vienna, Austria! Siemens is harmonizing its sales terms and needs an experienced lawyer's support for an international project, where you will report to the lead of the project in Siemens AG, Germany. We are looking for a person with excellent drafting skills in German and English, as well as curiosity about legal tech and IT.
Your Tasks
- You will be responsible for the legal tasks within the already launched global harmonization project for Siemens' Sales terms and conditions.
- Draft terms and conditions, contracts, and offer templates with a focus on Legal Design (well-structured, easy to read, and plain language), requiring a solid understanding of international contract law.
- Contribute to Siemens' standardized clause library, ensuring consistency across various clauses and documents.
- Collaborate with different business units and functions, including tax, insurance, finance, and IT, across regions.
- Develop and update innovative training materials and playbooks for global Sales terms and condition.
- Work closely with IT and business teams to automate Siemens' Sales terms and conditions.
- Support the rollout and update process of Siemens' Sales terms and conditions across different regions.
What you need to make what matters real
- A master's degree in law from a recognized Austrian university with above-average results, or a comparable international qualification.
- At least two years of professional experience as a legal advisor in an international law firm or the legal department of an international company.
- Profound legal expertise in international contract law, commercial and IT law. Knowledge of common law is a plus.
- International experience is advantageous (either work or studies).
- Excellent drafting skills in German and English.
- Strong analytical skills, good business sense, and a focus on results.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with team members, business partners, and colleagues across functions and countries.
- Curiosity about legal tech and IT.
Your Perspective
Depending on specific qualifications and professional experience, a gross monthly salary (Full-time Basis) of at least EUR 3.665,31 is expected. The final salary agreement will be reached in a personal interview.
