As Director of Corporate Communications, you will lead both internal and external communications and, together with your team, shape how we engage in dialogue with employees, the media, stakeholders, and the public. Your Challenge

  • Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement integrated communication strategies aligned with corporate goals, in close collaboration with communication experts across our divisions.
  • Content Leadership: Oversee the creation of high-quality content focused on key topics such as business, sustainability, innovation, and people & culture - ensuring consistency across all channels.
  • Media Relations: Lead the strategic direction of media positioning and media activities in close coordination with the media spokesperson.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain a strong network of partners in relevant fields to support strategic initiatives and enhance our visibility.
  • Crisis Communication: Lead communication efforts in sensitive situations to protect and uphold the company's reputation.
  • Communication Performance Management: Analyze reach, impact, and feedback to continuously refine and improve communication strategies.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead the Corporate Communications team while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence in communications.

Your Profile

  • Degree in Communications, Media Studies, Business, Political Science, Marketing, or a comparable field
  • Several years of leadership experience in a strategic communications role - ideally in an international industrial environment or communications consultancy
  • Extensive experience in strategic media relations, including the development and cultivation of trusted relationships with key journalists and media outlets - both nationally and internationally.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing integrated communication strategies
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with a sharp sense for relevant topics and compelling storytelling
  • Experienced in managing diverse stakeholder groups - from executive leadership to media representatives
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Due to legal standards in Austria, we are required to disclose the minimum annual gross salary for the position as defined by the collective agreement, which amounts EUR 109 875,02 (collective agreement for chemical industry). A willingness to offer additional compensation based on your individual profile and professional experience, as well as a performance bonus, is a given.
