In the role, you will support the establishing, monitoring, and improving the Borealis Compliance Management System, including Data Protection. You will support ensuring operations align with Borealis Values and Ethics & Integrity Policy, assessing and mitigating risks, and advise management and employees on compliance and ethics issues. As a Compliance Specialist, you will support shaping our compliance and ethics landscape, working with a diverse team and making a significant impact.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Support the maintenance of the Borealis Compliance Management System covering areas like Insider Trading, Competition Law, Anti-Corruption, and Data Protection.
• Support ensuring compliance with laws and ethical standards.
• Follow legal developments and support preparing reports for the management.
• Support the implementation of compliance and ethics training programs.
• Support the third-party risk assessment procedures.
• Support the development of the Compliance Officers & Ethics Ambassadors' network.
• Support investigations of non-compliant activities.

About you

• Law degree from a reputable law school is a must-have
• Fluency in English and German is a must-have
• 3-5 years of experience in an international company or law firm
• Experience with Austrian legislation and compliance management systems
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong digital abilities
